Waxing is a quick and effective method of hair removal. It leaves the skin soft and supple, with slower, lighter regrowth with repeated treatments. Results last approximately 3 to 6 weeks.
Products used are suitable for sensitive skin.
For waxing to be carried out, you need to have sufficient hair growth (about ¼ inch). Also, it is not advisable to have waxing done on the first few days of your period due to increased sensitivity.
If you are using roaccutane or any medication that thins the skin, you cannot be waxed due to the increased possibility of the skin tearing. Please wait until 6 months has passed since you last used the medication.
Please also note that if you are diabetic, GP consent is needed before any treatment is carried out.
Please note I am not qualified to carry out male or female intimate waxing and treatments are for women only.

Below are some recommended guidelines for you to follow to ensure your skin is cared for properly following waxing and during hair regrowth.
Please note: some slight soreness, small bumps and redness are normal temporary reactions, particularly after your first waxing treatment. These symptoms should subside within 24–48 hours. However, if irritation persists, or infection occurs, seek medical advice.
Your skin will be temporarily sensitive after waxing, so during the next 24–48 hours you should:
avoid hot baths/showers and heat treatments (e.g. saunas, hot tubs or steam treatment)
avoid tanning (sunbathing, sunbeds or self-tan products)
avoid sport, going to the gym or other exercise
avoid touching or scratching the treated area with unwashed hands
avoid wearing tight clothing as this may irritate the treated area
avoid swimming in chlorinated pools
apply deodorants/body sprays, powders, lotions or perfumed products to the area.
Apply a soothing cream to the waxed area regularly for a few days following your treatment if the skin is sore or needs soothing. Always wash your hands before applying any product.
Gently exfoliate the skin and moisturise the area to reduce the risk of ingrown hairs.
You may notice a small amount of regrowth after a week or so. It can take up to four treatments for your hair to adjust to a growth cycle that gives best results.
To maintain your smooth appearance, it is recommended that you have regular waxing every 4–6 weeks.
If you are having further waxing treatments:
your hair needs to be at least ½cm long before it can be successfully removed by waxing
please do notshave between appointments (but instead tweeze if you need to).
